More Than Body Care: Work + Life

Space to think more intentionally about your work, your life, and how well the two are fitting together.

I created More Than Body Care around a simple idea: caring for yourself extends beyond the products you use.

Coco Chiloso began with care for the body, but my background as an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist has always shaped how I think about care more broadly. Work takes up a significant part of our lives. How we experience that work, what it asks of us, and how well it fits the life we want all matter.

However, our relationship with work can get complicated.

Sometimes the work itself changes. Sometimes we change. Responsibilities grow. Priorities shift. What used to fit no longer does. Or, we simply reach a point where we realize we have been so busy doing the work that we have not stopped to think about what we actually want from it.

That is the idea behind More Than Body Care: Work + Life.

These Work (plus) Life experiences and resources create space to step outside the day-to-day for a moment and look more closely at your work, your life, and how well the two are fitting together.

Where You Might Be Right Now

You may be thinking about a change in your work or career.

You may be trying to decide what you want next.

You may enjoy what you do but dislike the way you are doing it.

You may be carrying more work than you have the capacity for.

You may need clearer limits around your work.

You may feel less engaged or motivated than you used to.

You may be running your own business and wondering whether the business you built is giving you what you wanted from working for yourself.

Or, nothing may be particularly wrong. You may simply want to be more intentional about the role work plays in your life.

Work + Life Experiences

More Than Body Care: Work + Life includes different ways to explore these questions depending on what you need.

Some experiences are self-guided, giving you space to work through structured questions, reflections, and activities at your own pace. Others provide one-on-one support, giving you a private space to look more closely at something you are working through with an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist who specializes in how people experience and relate to their work.

Individual experiences may focus on areas such as:

  • How you want to work
  • Work-life fit and competing priorities
  • Work demands, capacity, and boundaries
  • Career or work direction
  • Engagement, motivation, and dissatisfaction
  • Decisions about your work
  • The experience of running your own business

Each Work + Life product is designed around a specific purpose, so you can choose the experience that makes sense for where you are.

These experiences help you get clearer about questions like:

  • What is working for me right now?
  • What is not?
  • What do I actually want?
  • What may be getting in the way?
  • What deserves my attention?
  • What, if anything, do I want to do differently from here?

Whatever brings you here, the first step is getting clearer about how you want work to fit into your life.

With care,
